Yikes, Nintendo forgot to mention this tidbit about the new Nintendo DS i. The new Nintendo DS is going to be 4mm wider, 1mm longer, 2.6mm thinner, and 4 grams lighter than the Nintendo DS Lite. It will also consume significantly more power than the “old” model.
According to official specifications released by Nintendo, the DS Lite is capable of 15-19 hours of play at a minimum level of LCD brightness, and 5-8 at full brightness. The DSi, meanwhile, will only manage a weak 9-14 hours of play at minimum brightness, or 3-4 at max brightness.
You will be able to Pre-order the Nintendo DS-i in White or Black soon here in the US.
