Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will feature online and local multiplayer modes. Up to four other players can play together in the “scarescraper” area of the game. The mode revealed today is Hunter Mode in which each player controls a Luigi of a different color and the goal is to hunt ghosts using teamwork to clear each floor of the tower before the timer runs up. If your team does well you can earn upgrades and bonuses. At the top of each tower a boss battle awaits the team. Players can choose 5, 10 or 25 floors to go through as well as a difficulty setting for new and hardcore gamers alike. If you are taken out by ghosts don’t worry, your teammates can revive you.
