Reggie Fils-Aime said it, “We will not see the product here in North America until well into calendar 2009”.
So there you have it, don’t expect the US version of the Nintendo DS-i until later next year. I guess we will have to import it in the meantime if we want to get it this December.
I really don’t see what the big deal is about the dsi. All they did was change the shape, get rid of the gba slot, make bigger screens, and better audio. Oh yeah and the cheesy cameras are a joke. That being said ITS STILL A DS!!! They did nothing to up the graphics!!!! Here is some things they should have added to the dsi: connect to your wii and port wii ware, or have an ability to download virtual console games via the wii. Or even better how about a way to connect it to your t.v. Nintendo has been loosing my interest in both their systems, for the serious lake of good quality recently. Yeah I know about the online bull it can do. Seriously though if you already have a ds or a ds lite keep it there is nothing great about the dsi. Plus the ds systems are almost 6 years old its time Nintendo up the hand held a little more than a few gimmicks.

the DSi looks pretty stupid. i think they should of stayed more towards the ds lite look instead of changing the whole thing. the cameras r prtty cool.=D

Actually, there is a 3 mp camera on the outside of the DS-i and a 0.3 mp (VGA) camera on the inside…
